Norse is moving if they can get the Kickstarter right

We’re really excited to be able to finally confirm that we’re no longer just planning to move the restaurant, we’re going to make it happen.  The space Norse is moving to is the former Wild/Mirabelle site near Valley Gardens on Swan Road.

We’ve raised some funds privately and we’re going to be launching a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in early February to raise the rest of the money we need……so we’re really going to need your help.

Crowdfunding can be an amazing way to raise the money you need to get a project off the ground but it’s a nervy process – it really is a case of laying your reputation on the line and seeing if the people that understand you and your business are willing to back you with their hard-earned cash.

Norse is moving and it'll start with a Kickstarter launch party at Major Tom's Social

There will be a launch party held at Major Tom’s Social from 6.30pm on Sunday 5th February 2017.  We’ll all be available to talk about the project, we’ll press the launch button at 7pm and play our campaign video for the first time on the big screen.

It’s going to be a ticketed thing because we underestimated how many people would like to come along!

In the meantime if you would like to help us the very best way is by talking about the project to anyone and everyone that may be interested.  Sharing our news and posts on social media is a huge help because these things are about momentum and we want to be heading into the launch with as much as possible.  We should probably also say start saving a couple of quid to stick in the pot if you can!

We don’t want to go into too much detail beyond what we’ve said at this stage but there will be plenty more to come in the next few weeks.

Leave any questions below or on our social channels and we’ll endeavour to answer them.

From Paul, Simon and a very excited Norse team.
